Why Asynchronous?
Prompt generation involves complex AI processing that can take a minute or more. To avoid browser timeouts and let you get on with your day, TellaPrompt processes generations in the background.
Status Indicators
Each generation request goes through these statuses:
- Queued — Your request is in line and will start shortly.
- Generating — The AI is actively building your prompt.
- Ready — Your prompt is complete and available.
- Failed — Something went wrong. Your credits are refunded automatically.
Email Notifications
Before submitting an idea, you can opt in to receive an email when your prompt is ready. This means you can submit, close the tab, and you'll get a notification with a link to view your result.
Checking on Your Request
You can always check the status of your requests on the My Prompts page, where all your generations are listed with their current status and results.
What If Generation Fails?
If a generation fails, any credits deducted are automatically refunded to your account. You can try again with the same idea or refine it and resubmit.
